Allow distant family members to participate in the Care Plan Conferences.  Connect those family members through VIFamilies in their home or office.  (They can connect from ANY computer--nothing to download or install!)  Remember, if you have the membership it is free to those who connect with you.  If family members do not have a camera, they can still see and hear everything and then communicate by text messaging.  Or what a great "moving in incentive"---provide a camera to the distant family member so they can stay connected with their parent!
