Some application work acceptably, but those with large video images work much better with high speed internet connections (such as DSL, Cable Modems, or business Networks). You can try the service out with dial-up, and then you can decide if it is worth the upgrade to high speed. The cost of high speed internet is dropping, and as of mid 2005, over half of the active internet users were using high speed connections.
